Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

Bright Pledge Carriers, LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Amazon Delivery Drivers. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers' homes and businesses with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Our ideal candidate is a dependable, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers using a company-provided vehicle.
Route Navigation: Follow a predetermined delivery route, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to delivery schedules.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and ensuring their packages are delivered in a courteous and timely manner.
Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handling them with care to prevent damage.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
Documentation: Accurately record delivery information and update delivery status using a handheld device.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and driving laws, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Problem Solving: Handle any delivery issues or obstacles promptly and effectively, reporting any unresolved issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages (up to 50 lbs), walk, and climb stairs.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld technology for navigation and delivery documentation.
Work Ethic: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
